We are BEYOND THRILLED to announce that Corvine has been selected by Whoopi Goldberg for inclusion in Whoopi’s Shorts at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival!
Yeah, THAT Whoopi Goldberg!
What does this mean? Well, for starters, it means that director Sean McCarron will be travelling to New York for the festival in June, where he’ll attend a screening and participate in a Q&A hosted by Whoopi Goldberg! Wow. (He’ll probably eat some cheesecake, and buy one of those I heart NY shirts, and squeeze in some sightseeing too.)
It also means that Corvine will be screened three times during the festival, reaching a new audience in New York. Amazing. And, it means that Corvine is in the running for the Best Animated Short award – and that’s a Really Big Deal, because winning that award would mean being longlisted for an Academy Award.
